colorBee AiGent ("the App") is developed and operated by APARUM LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information when you use it to get AI-powered paint color suggestions.
The App accesses only the photos you explicitly choose to upload. No other personal information is collected. Specifically:
We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, or any other personal data.
Before your photo is ever sent anywhere, the App shows an in-app disclosure explaining that your photo and any style notes will be shared with OpenAI, and asks you to explicitly agree before continuing. If you decline, no photo is uploaded or shared.
What is sent: the photo image you select and the text style prompt you type — nothing else (no name, location, contacts, or device identifiers).
Who it is sent to: OpenAI, L.L.C., a third-party artificial intelligence provider, via their GPT-4o vision API. Our server forwards your photo and prompt directly to OpenAI to generate the color analysis; it is not shared with any other third party.
Why it is sent: solely to analyze the image and generate AI-powered paint color palette suggestions for you.
OpenAI processes the image transiently to produce results. Under our API usage agreement with OpenAI, data submitted through the API is not used to train OpenAI's models and is retained by OpenAI only briefly for abuse-monitoring purposes as described in OpenAI's API data usage policy. OpenAI's own privacy policy is available at openai.com/privacy, and provides protections consistent with this Privacy Policy for the data it processes on our behalf.
We do not store your photos on our own servers. Photos are processed in memory and discarded immediately after the response is returned to your device.
The color palette results you receive are saved locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage (AsyncStorage). This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it. You can delete saved palettes at any time from within the App.
The App uses OpenAI's API to process your photo, as described in Section 2 above. OpenAI's privacy policy is available at openai.com/privacy.
We do not retain any photos or prompts you submit. All processing occurs transiently on our server and results are returned to your device only.
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
